Anointing With Ketchup and Mustard!
Amazing video!
Closer to the Start - New Creation from Fellowship Church on Vimeo.
When I get back from sabbatical we're gonna start anointing people with kectchup and mustard at my church.
I never knew you could shine a black light on ketchup and mustard and get such colors! Cool! Modern liturgy! Liturgical innovation. A new creation! Or a new human burger. Whatever.
It's time to come into the 21st century, pastors! Let's get excited! Let's let some 50-year-old chicks to squirt ketchup and mustard on us while we sing!

Liturgical Dance
Oh, and while where on the topic of church music and worship, I think this liturgical sock dance has some potential. After all, if we are not going to use incense (because of it's connections with Rome and Constantinople), then let's at least have some distinctive odors in the church.
Church Music
I really wish we could do this at our church. Please?! All we have are those boring Psalms and hymns. We can't even watch this awesome dancing while we sing.

Unbelievably Stupid
This is the new Microsoft commercial. It's supposed to best Apple's Pc vs. Mac ADs. Bwahhhaaaaahaaaaah! Are these people at Microsoft complete morons? Has there ever been a more boneheaded AD in the history of tech TV commercials? I am in awe. Did anyone at MS watch this AD before it was released? Dumb, dumb, dumb.
And it ends with the word "Delicious." What? What is delicious? Microsoft products? Bwahhhaaaaahaaaaah! I can think of other adjectives that would better describe them. More colorful, too. Microsoft has never had any marketing sense. But now it is clear that they are completely brain dead.

This Week's Funniest Video
This was just a scream. I'd almost rather vote for her than the other two dunderheads on the ticket. And then there's this AP story:
Paris Hilton didn't need cue cards for her presidential campaign ad. The 24-year-old heiress memorized her entire monologue, which included Hilton outlining her energy plan, in an online video spoof posted on Funny or Die, the comedy Web site's content director said.I think we should all go get "Paris for President" bumper stickers. Kid warning:The video is rated PG (for a single use of the word b*tch).

This is what passes for a church service in America
Pastor gets into motorcycle crash during church service

A pastor in Indiana decided to bring out a dirt bike during a church service to demonstrate the concept of unity.I guess this is the latest stunt to attract new members. This YouTube video is from a separate incident:
Now he's demonstrating the concept of healing. Jeff Harlow, the senior pastor at Crossroads Community Church, broke his wrist when he lost control of the motorcycle at the start of Sunday's second service. He ended up driving off a 1.5-metre platform and into the vacant first row of seats.
He's now recovering from surgery on the wrist.
His wife, Becky, says the pastor is OK but "his pride was bruised."
Becky Harlow said her husband had recently attended a motorcycle race in Buchanan, Michigan.
"He had this idea that he would bring this bike out onstage and show people how the rider would become one with the bike," she told the Kokomo Tribune. "He was going to just sit on it and drive it out. He was just walking the dirt bike out onstage and somehow it got away from him. It was not intended."
No one else was hurt.
Jeff Harlow had performed the demonstration at earlier services Saturday night and Sunday morning without incident.
