Unbelievably Stupid
This is the new Microsoft commercial. It's supposed to best Apple's Pc vs. Mac ADs. Bwahhhaaaaahaaaaah! Are these people at Microsoft complete morons? Has there ever been a more boneheaded AD in the history of tech TV commercials? I am in awe. Did anyone at MS watch this AD before it was released? Dumb, dumb, dumb.
And it ends with the word "Delicious." What? What is delicious? Microsoft products? Bwahhhaaaaahaaaaah! I can think of other adjectives that would better describe them. More colorful, too. Microsoft has never had any marketing sense. But now it is clear that they are completely brain dead.

Did Gates See this?

The blue screen of death on the opening night of the Olympics! I understand that Bill Gates was in the audience. Is that just too good or what? The Chinese where using Windows! Bwah hah hah hah. Unbelievable.

Thin is Beautiful
Elegant, gorgeous, eminently useful, and a HUGE TEMPTATION! Thin women don't really move me, but this. . . oh baby!
Here's my big question: how sturdy is it? It's so dang thin that I keep picturing myself letting it slip out of my hands onto the tile floor. Will it shatter? I want to know.
Hopefully, someone will make a rubberized sleeve for it.
Watch Steve Jobs do his magic.
What I love about this particular clip is the response of the guy who's making the video when Jobs takes it out of the envelope. It's like. . . well, you know. What a hoot!

Vacation Blues

I had hoped to continue with daily blog posts while on vacation, but I don't have access to what I need on this laptop.
I've been doing Mac OS upgrades since 1984. This is the first time I've had this kind of problem. I guess that's pretty good, but I'm still mad.
And, Bob, don't say a word about Linux or I'll. . .
