Liturgical Dance

Oh, and while where on the topic of church music and worship, I think this liturgical sock dance has some potential. After all, if we are not going to use incense (because of it's connections with Rome and Constantinople), then let's at least have some distinctive odors in the church.

A music video by Sonseed completes the holy trinity of bad 'worship' music. Google them, you won't be disappointed.

So Jeff, when are you going to get a hair do like that?

Yeah, but who can say no to the awesome truth that "Jesus spins me right round Jesus right round round!"

Guess I'm not "in" yet...I've never been spun. I think it's your fault, Jeff.

C'mon guys. This chap has the total package: (1) Approaching middle age (2) Doesn't know how to use a razor (3) Purposefully looks like he doesn't bathe, and (4) Matches up an 80's hairdo with an 80's covered song...yeah! Wicked dooooodman!

BTW, the cadence and tone of his voice sounds like he's gonna say: "I'm livin' in a van...by the river!"

ok valerie, the only redeeming thing about that was that it was a college quartet, not a church one. besides that...why do they all turn and stare at the one when he starts to sing, and he doesn't have that great of a voice!

Um...morbid fascination? ;-)

I forget, are we supposed to have honor in our hearts now?

Valerie (Kyriosity) said...

I dunno about honor in my heart, but I've had that &@#*% tune stuck in my head for three days now.

BTW does anybody know what that is on the drummers head? Etruscan war helmet?

I actually came to the conclusion that it's his hair -- a bleached, skunklike swath of it, at any rate.
