He lived. The driver jumped out as it was happening. This footage doesn't make it so clear, but the driver was trying to avoid the awning. He was circling around to get a parking spot. When he clipped the roof, he immediately knew what was gong on and jumped out.

ReplyDeleteHitting the awning was dumb, but I also think the awning needed a better design. Like supports on the outer corners.
