There may be some truth to the humor. I have always had a love/hate relationship with Jay Adams. We have been victimized by one pastor who used nouthetic counseling wrongly. Thankfully he totally apologized to us later and straightened out our broken relationship with him.
Now that's my kind of counseling! Hilarious!
