Nothing But Photos This Time

We didn't have much luck this year during the two-day firearms youth season. We didn't see a single deer on Saturday.

But we did shoot off some pretty cool fireworks Friday night.

Maybe you should have just stayed in the burbs to get your deer. I saw a doe running up the middle of Concord School Road on Friday afternoon at about 3:00 pm.

My husband thinks you have gone off the deep-end, Jennifer! That is unbelievable!

BTW, Jeff, nice fireworks photo! And sympathies to JJM Jr.

The fireworks are beautiful, Jeff.

Ditto jennifer's comment. Not that you would want to go all the way out to Maryland, but if you did come out here, we could show you how the real pros hunt deer:

With cars.

You mean in your cars with spotlights, night vision googles, and automatic weapons. Cool.

Maybe your deer are clever enough to need that level of sophistication, but our deer like to be hunted on the pavement with nothing but four wheels.

Sometimes, if we aren't getting close enough fast enough, our deer will come smash themselves against the sides of our cars in an effort to be hunted more efficiently.

Oh, and car season is 12-month in MD.
